PRS Co. or پژوهشکده رباتیک شمال in persian language is a research center which its focus is on the design and building robotic systems. specially, agricultural robots & systems .

Role: embedded software & hardware developer.

  • designed and implemented temperature and humidity controller of the seedlings nurseries for rice transplanting
  • goal of the project: accelerating plant growth , protection against cold and heat.
  • description: developing embedded board for control & data logger temperature and humidity.
  • my role: hardware & software designer with AVR microcontroller

PDS Co. or پژوهشکده شهید فهمیده in persian language is a research center which its focus is on the design and building robotic systems. specially, under water robots.

Role: embedded software developer.

Projects:

hardware and software in the loop (HIL, SIL) simulation software for Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) (C/C++, QT).

  • goal of the project: designing and building a new HIL/SIL simulation software.
  • description: a HIL/SIL software is a simulation software which allows engineers to apply verification and validation (V & V) process on the developed embedded software.
  • my role: developing a new HIL, SIL Software. there was an outdated HIL/SIL software which was developed in borland C++.
  • number of team members: +15 people.
  • duration: 6 months.

  • my role: designing a DSU based on parameters and formulas given by control engineers.

description: a RCCS is a software which allows operators to work with a ROV. this software send command data to the ROV and display results.

  • my role: designing a user interface for RCCS software in QT.

    • design and implementation of real time ARM based data logger (STM32F103).

description: in order to analyze the performance of the ROV. our engineering team required exact data of sensors and actuators output. for example, the speed, acceleration, GPS data, motor speed, etc… we designed a real time data logger which stores data in flash memory and also sends important data to the monitoring software.

description: after designing data logger system. We have needed a medium to send data to the monitoring software. We’ve choose GSM mobile network to send data using GPRS TCP/IP link

  • my role: developing an interface for GSM module (SIM 900) and customizing the data logger to work with this module & hardware designer.

description: for long distance communication in sea, GSM network is not useful anymore. We’ve needed a data link to send data over 20kM. as a telecom engineers I’ve made a telemetry data link prototype module by using commodity device based on SDR.
